Had a great morning meeting up with some lovely teachers from the Manchester area looking at designing cross curricular schemes of learning with MFL. I presented on developing thinking skills, learner attitudes and using the SOLO taxonomy to assess understanding. It was fascinating to work with English, History, Geography, Art, PSHE, Science and ICT teachers as well as delightful linguists! Anyhoo, here is the presentation as promised!
